We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Greater Manchester, who are recruiting for a Electrical QS on a permanent contract. The position is due to start immediately, offering a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, as well as a host of benefits. The ideal candidate will have a full complement of Electrical Qualifications, including 18th Edition and 2391, as well as a full UK Driving Licence. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Working alongside the current electricians with a day-to-day run list of jobs, managing all aspects of electrical maintenance within properties Overseeing programmes including CCU upgrades, fault finding, accessory changes, and electrical testing Delivering high-quality electrical works in line with work orders and instructions Contributing to the Direct Maintenance team's objectives, targets, and achievements Working closely with the Principal Duty Holder to maintain compliance with NICEIC/CPS registration requirements Acting as the primary point of contact with residents, ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed "right first time" Carrying out works in line with organisational policies, KPI requirements, and schedule of rates to ensure value for money and efficient use of materials Ensuring all electrical installation work complies with statutory and regulatory standards, including governance, health and safety, and financial probity Experience required: Experience required in Social Housing Experience working with customers within housing Rewards and Benefits: Up to 6% double pension contribution 28 days leave, rising to 31 days based on length of service Paid days for volunteering Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, flexibility on these hours Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
