HGV 1 Driver - Glasgow Cambuslang
Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park - HGV Class 1 - New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.
We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for permanent roles in our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shifts pattern available
1. Tuesday to Saturday 01:00 start
2. Tuesday to Saturday 02:00 start
3. Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 start
4. Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 start
Day pay rates:
5. Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
6. Saturday £18.71
7. Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
Nights pay rates:
8. Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
9. Saturday £21.38
10. Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
11. In date DIGI and CPC card
12. Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
13. Willing to work weekends.
14. Motivated and open to learn new skills.
15. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
16. Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
17. Prepping vehicles for delivery.
18. Completing vehicles checks.
19. Refuelling vehicles.
20. The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
