Overview
Controls Systems Integration Engineer - designs, develops, and maintains systems that automate industrial processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team. As a Controls Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life cycle delivery of projects in both technical compliance and quality. You will attend meetings with clients to discuss the design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing and commissioning for projects. You will bring an innovative approach to problem solving and work with highly skilled engineers to develop your career. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives and instrumentation products and experience in producing project documentation.
Full-time position: 08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays. Role includes UK site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home).
Responsibilities
* Apply control system experience (2+ years) to project delivery across the full lifecycle of automation projects.
* Contribute to software programming, configuration, testing and commissioning activities.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to discuss design, surveys, and project documentation.
* Collaborate with engineers to implement innovative solutions and ensure technical compliance and quality.
* Lead or support project activities on site as required, including UK site commissioning.
Qualifications
* Previous control system experience (2+ years).
* Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications.
* Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi PLCs or SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware, Iconics, Schneider or other platforms).
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Clean UK Driving Licence.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
* For Lead positions: ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers to improve performance (5+ years of experience).
