Overview
Cranswick Fresh Poultry is hiring at our state-of-the-art processing site with great facilities in Eye, Suffolk. We have an opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the finance team.
Shift pattern
Monday- Friday 08.00 -17.00
Duties and responsibilities
* Purchase ledger and associated work two days a week and reporting/adherence of and to.
* Close off the purchase ledger, balance intercompany accounts and statement reconciliations each financial period along with any other monthly tasks required.
* Monthly Environmental reporting.
* Assist in the production of weekly management accounts.
* Ensure Brexit paperwork and proceedures adhered to.
* Attendance at Quarterly stocktakes as and when required.
* Promote a culture of rigorous financial control and assist with improvements to processes and procedures
* Assist in production of annual budget.
* Provide data insight and analysis
Essential Qualifications
* Studying for CIMA or ACCA
* Strong Excel skills
* Good communicator
* Motivated and able to prioritise demanding workloads
* Capable of working on confidential and sensitive issues with discretion
* AAT part-qualified, ledger accounting experience
Desirable
* Worked in manufacturing environment
* Experience of ERP system
Pay and Benefits
* £25,000 -£35,000 per year depending on experience
