The Best Connection are seeking Courier Van Drivers to support our client based in Newcastle. This is a busy parcel delivery role, involving between 65 - 90 drops per day to residential and commercial addresses.
The Role:
* Multi-drop delivery of parcels (65-90 drops per day)
* Adhering to a planned route and delivery schedule
* Customer service focused, ensuring parcels are delivered safely and on time
* Completion of all relevant delivery paperwork/scanning requirements
* Monday to Friday working pattern
* Start time: 10:00am | Finish time: approx. 8:00pm
* Due to start mid-November, but earlier starts are available
The Candidate:
* Full UK Cat B driving licence
* Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
* No more than 3 penalty points (no major endorsements)
* Previous multi-drop or courier experience preferred but not essential
* Excellent driving, time management, and customer service skills
* Able to commit to ongoing work until at least Christmas
* Subject to DBS check, references, and vetting
