Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Relief Support Workers to join our team in Haywards Heath.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with unique abilities and needs. Your role includes assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and supporting individuals when going out in the community. The adults we support enjoy various hobbies and activities.
What we're looking for:
* A genuine passion for supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
* Support with personal care and manual handling.
All our services provide 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.
Shifts are typically between 07:00-10:00.
Contract options:
* We offer flexible working hours with rotas planned in advance.
* Non-contractual sleep-in shifts are available, with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
