Join Alcedo Care as a Complex Mental Health Care Assistant in Heysham.
Excellent rates of pay £18.00 - £18.50 per hour + pension and holiday pay (equivalent to £20.78 to £21.35 per hour including holiday pay & pension).
Expected average hours – approximately 20-40 hours per week; variable hours contract, hours not guaranteed. 12‑hour days or waking night shifts on a rota basis – 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00.

Qualifications
* Training in mental health support and crisis intervention – preferable.
Experience
* Proven experience working in mental health settings.
* Familiarity with various complex mental health conditions, including dissociative identity disorder.
* Experience following care plans.
Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively.
* Active listening skills to understand client’s needs and concerns.
* Strong skills in de‑escalation techniques and crisis management.
* Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
