Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Redditch
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 Depending on experience, + company bonus
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 5 days on site (No Hybrid Option)
We’re currently seeking an organised & proactive Transport Planner to join our client based in Redditch. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working closely with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and allocate deliveries
* Liaise with drivers to resolve any issues at deliveries or collections.
* Ensure plans are efficient, accurate, and meet customer requirements.
* Complete all associated administrative tasks.
* Handle customer queries, including ETAs, POD requests, and delivery issues.
* Communicate professionally and promptly with customers and internal teams.
* Maintain accurate records and update systems as needed.
Desired Experience:
* Previous experience in transport, logistics, or planning is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure.
