Butchery Manager – Booker
Join Booker as a Butchery Manager and run the Butchery Departments as your own business. You will work directly with customers, develop their business, understand local markets, and provide excellent service.
Responsibilities
 * Maintain high standards in all areas, including stock, food‑safety procedures, and fresh and pre‑packed displays.
 * Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop a business plan that supports sales growth and profitability.
 * Greet and speak to customers, provide advice, answer questions, accept orders, and offer assistance with a smile.
 * Order and manage stock, including regular stocktaking.
 * Effectively develop and manage a small team, including staff rota creation.
 * Cut meat to order and ensure quality.
 * Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
 * Coordinate deliveries or order pickups.
 * Control waste and optimise product utilisation.
