One of our lovely mainstream primary schools in Kinson (BH11) is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1–1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a full-time basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with a child with Special Educational Needs, providing consistent, tailored support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally within a mainstream setting.
The Role:
* Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
* 1–1 support for a pupil with SEN
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Supporting learning, engagement and emotional regulation
* Implementing individual support plans and strategies
* Encouraging independence and positive social interaction
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working with children with SEN (essential)
* Be patient, nurturing and resilient
* Have strong behaviour management skills
* Be confident adapting learning to meet individual needs
* Be committed to making a real difference in a child’s educational journey
