Temporary Receptionist
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Dates: 27th October 2025 - 31st March 2026
Working week: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Pay rate: £12.50
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a professional and personable Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys front-of-house responsibilities and thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming visitors and managing the reception area
Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately
Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared
Supporting general administrative tasks and facilities coordination
Liaising with internal teams and external contacts professionallyIdeal Candidate:
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confident using Microsoft Office and other standard systems
Friendly, proactive, and able to work independentlyThis is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional setting while contributing to a welcoming and efficient office environment.
