The service is located in a beautiful coastal town Northwest coast. This isn’t a typical Home Manager post. It’s a rare opportunity for a proven turnaround specialist to step into a high-potential service and lead a full transformation. With around 60 residents currently in place and significant scope for growth, the right leader will shape the future direction of the home, elevate quality, and rebuild its reputation as a provider of choice in the region. The Package Salary up to £95,000 per annum 40% annual bonus linked to quality, occupancy, and operational KPIs Private Medical Insurance Company pension scheme 5.6 weeks annual leave What We’re Looking For Nurse-qualified with an active NMC PIN Proven experience managing a nursing home with a minimum of 60 beds A track record of turning around underperforming care homes Strong understanding of CQC frameworks and delivering improved ratings Commercially astute with the ability to drive occupancy, strengthen referral pipelines, and stabilise financial performance A resilient, inspiring leadership style with the ability to unite, motivate, and develop teams Genuine passion for creating a culture of high-quality, person-centred careThe Challenge Ahead The home currently holds a Requires Improvement rating, with groundwork already underway to move forward. A recent inspection is expected to maintain the RI rating — providing the perfect moment for a new leader to step in, build momentum, and deliver measurable, sustainable improvement. You’ll work alongside a highly supportive Regional and Quality Team, but this is your service to shape. You’ll be the driving force behind rebuilding trust, re-establishing referral streams, and re-energising the workforce.
