Senior HR Advisor / Employee Relations - 12 Month FTC - Mat Cover - Remote - December start

We are recruiting for an exciting 12-month maternity cover position as a Senior HR Advisor, focusing heavily on employee relations. The ideal candidate will have senior-level ER experience and a passion for HR.

You will collaborate with the Employee Relations Manager to support leadership and influence managers on employee relations matters.


Role Description and Key Requirements:

1. Provide credible, expert, and commercially astute ER advice to stakeholders at all levels on issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence, TUPE, redundancy, and reasonable adjustments.
2. Tailor advice according to employment status (employee, worker), considering relevant employment and organizational risks.
3. Accurately track cases on the case management system and review data to drive actionable changes.
4. Coach stakeholders on ER matters to enhance management and leadership capabilities, ensuring decisions align with organizational values.
5. Maintain a good understanding of UK employment law and stay updated on recent case law, sharing insights with the team.
6. Deliver engaging ER training sessions confidently.
7. Collaborate with ER team members, HRBPs, and the wider HR team to achieve key priorities set by the Head of ER or HR Leadership Team.
8. Use case insights to inform feedback to the Head of ER, influencing policy reviews and developing management toolkits.
9. Conduct or advise on complex investigations, reporting findings professionally and considering risks.
10. Write professional outcome letters for complex ER cases, including whistleblowing, sexual harassment, and discrimination.
11. Manage ER cases effectively, aligned with ER team success metrics.
12. Assist the Head of ER with projects as needed.
