my client, a notable player in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing a team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure effective commercial delivery across the contract
2. Overseeing month-end processes, including cost and value reporting, and presenting key commercial information to senior management
3. Maintaining and developing strong, collaborative relationships with clients, attending commercial and contract board meetings
4. Reviewing and approving subcontractor payments, applications for payment, and ensuring timely issue resolution
5. Analysing contract data and documentation to drive performance improvements and support strategic decision-making
Job Requirements:
6. HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline
7. Experience in highways or infrastructure projects in a commercial capacity
8. Strong understanding of NEC contracts, subcontractor management, and CVR processes
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with commercial systems
