Overview
A friendly Good primary in High Wycombe seeks an ambitious Year 4 Teacher for a Full-Time role commencing January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be expected to lead a class through a rich, knowledge-led curriculum; the Year 4 Teacher will begin handover work and induction before January 2026, attend training in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
• The Year 4 Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, developing reasoning in maths and fluency in reading as the Year 4 Teacher.
• The Year 4 Teacher will use assessment to personalise learning and run timely interventions as the Year 4 Teacher.
• The Year 4 Teacher will contribute to curriculum development and lead enrichment activities as the Year 4 Teacher.
• The Year 4 Teacher will work with parents to share progress and strategies as the Year 4 Teacher.
Year 4 Teacher Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status and recent KS2 experience as a Year 4 Teacher.
• Evidence of impact and strong classroom practice as a Year 4 Teacher.
• A collaborative, reflective Year 4 Teacher who is committed to continuous improvement.
Contract & start details
This Full-Time Year 4 Teacher role starts January 2026. The Full-Time Year 4 Teacher will have induction, mentoring and access to CPD beginning in January 2026 and throughout the spring term. The Full-Time contract provides stability and development routes for the Year 4 Teacher.
