SEN Teaching Assistant
Aspire People are working in partnership with a Special School in Prestwich that is looking to recruit a dedicated, motivated behaviour support Assistant to support within their KS2 department.

* Location: Special School Prestwich
* Start Date: September 2025
* Positions: Long-term and casual positions available
* Pay: £13.00 p/h - £15.00 p/h
The Special School caters to young people with Social Emotional Mental Health challenges who have experienced difficulties in their lives. They aim to provide necessary support to boost confidence, self-esteem, and enable students to become successful learners and prepared for their future careers. Pupils are taught in small groups, focusing on the core curriculum and receiving tailored support to ensure good progress.
The Role:
The SEN Teaching Assistant will build and maintain positive relationships with pupils and assist them in overcoming barriers to learning, helping them reach their full potential and access the curriculum.
Given that some children may display challenging behaviours, the successful candidate should have experience supporting pupils with such behaviours and demonstrate a resilient, calm approach.
