We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established London design practice for a Midweight Interior Designer with 4–6 years of experience to join their growing interiors team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio working across architecture, urban design, and interior design. The practice delivers a range of high-quality projects including workplace, residential, and mixed‑use interiors, with a strong emphasis on design‑led thinking and contextual design.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and contribute to projects from concept through to completion, working closely with architects, consultants, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development of interior design concepts and spatial strategies.
* Prepare mood boards, presentations, and design narratives for client review.
* Produce 3D models, visuals, and presentation drawings.
* Assist in the preparation of technical drawing packages and interior detailing.
* Support the development of FF&E schedules and specifications.
* Coordinate with architectural teams, consultants, and contractors.
* Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and client presentations.
* Assist the senior team in delivering projects through design development and construction stages.
Requirements
* 4–6 years of professional experience in interior design
* Previous experience working on commercial workplace projects
* Strong design sensibility with a good understanding of materials, detailing, and spatial designs.
* Proficiency in Revit, alongside Adobe Creative Suite is essential
* Experience preparing presentation material and technical drawings
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* 25 days annual leave increasing 1 day with service
