About the role
Vision for Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time within a Primary School based in Great Barr, starting September 2026. This is to work within the school’s SEN hub for KS2 pupils. This position will be full time and potential to be permanent for the right candidate.
Requirements
To apply for this Teaching Assistant role in Great Barr, you should have:
1. Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school or educational setting, or a relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
2. A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
3. Have or be able to obtain a DBS Certificate registered to the update service.
4. Be able to gain at least two relevant references covering the last 2 years.
5. Confidence assisting with individual and small-group learning activities, including supporting different learning needs.
