Fire & Security Engineer – North East area – £34,000 - £38,000 Basic
Package & Benefits:
* Basic salary of £34,000 - £38,000 per annum
* Overtime available
* Permanent, full-time position
* Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
* Covering North East England areas
* Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone and specialist equipment supplied
* Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way
* 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing with service

The Role:
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out:
* Installation, servicing and planned maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
* Fault diagnosis, repairs and reactive call-outs when required
* Work across a broad range of commercial sites, alongside some residential projects
* Coverage across North East region
* Ensuring systems are compliant, fully operational and completed to industry standards
* Delivering a professional service and maintaining strong customer relationships
* Participation in the on-call rota as part of the engineering team
* You will be working on a range of industry-leading systems including:
* Kentec, Advanced, Morley, Hyfire & Cooper.
Requirements:
* A full UK driving licence (essential)
* Previous experience in the fire and security industry
* Good working knowledge of a range of fire and/or security systems
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
* The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
* Flexibility to take part in a call-out rota
* A professional approach, strong work ethic and positive attitude
