Job Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join one of our respected partner schools in the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in English.
The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in students’ learning journeys. Role Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons to secondary pupils
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
* Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and achievement
Ideal Candidate :
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS5 desirable)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
