Role: Paralegal Assistant
Location: Horsham
Hours: Full Time, Permanent, 4 days considered
Pay: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal Assistant to join one of our clients, a dedicated firm in Horsham.
Responsibilities:
* Typing and preparing legal documents from digital dictation.
* Maintaining accurate client files (electronic and paper), including file opening/closing.
* Diary management and arranging appointments.
* Supporting property transactions: searches, Land Registry applications, mortgage processing.
* Completing forms such as SDLT, AP1s, and lender-related documents.
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders as directed.
* Handling new enquiries and issuing client care letters.
* Drafting sales contracts and managing post-exchange and completion tasks.
Requirements:
* Experience as a Legal Secretary or Assistant, ideally with property knowledge.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, digital dictation, and case management systems.
* Accurate audio typing and familiarity with Land Registry processes.
* Clear communicator with a proactive, professional manner and team focus.
