ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Dudley full-time.
About the role
* As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with a range of complex needs.
* Working closely with the class teacher and a skilled team of support staff, you will provide personalised support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
* You will support students aged 4 to 19 with severe and profound learning difficulties, offering one-to-one and small group interventions as needed.
* This is a full-time role with the potential to become long-term for the right candidate.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
* Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and sensory needs.
* Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
* Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* two years experience supporting students with special educational needs
