Role and environment
This is a truly unique opportunity to support individuals with complex mental health needs in a purpose-built supported living service. The service includes six self-contained apartments and two short-stay flats, designed to offer independence, dignity, and safety.
You’ll be part of a team that provides active, person-centred support daily. Activities may include attending church, going to college, countryside walks, visiting animal rescue centres, or joining virtual cooking classes to help people live full and meaningful lives.
We follow a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model, with full training in PBS and opportunities to learn Makaton, PECS, and other specialist skills. Currently, two people live in the service, with more joining in the future. You’ll be part of a thoughtful and gradual transition process to carefully support each new referral.
This is a role where your compassion, resilience, and creativity will have a lasting impact. We recruit based on values, not just experience. You’ll bring patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic to interactions, helping people live independently and meaningfully.
