We are delighted to be supporting our client, a forward-thinking and values-led organisation based in Edinburgh, in the appointment of a Senior HR Adviser to join their established HR team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to step into a truly varied role, combining day-to-day generalist support with the opportunity to shape and contribute to the delivery of strategic HR initiatives. You will act as a trusted partner to managers, providing expert advice on a broad range of employee relations matters while also playing a key role in advancing the organisation’s people strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance and support to managers on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and absence issues.
* Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic and commercially aware HR solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and strategic people plans.
* Support workforce planning, organisational change initiatives, and employee engagement projects.
* Use HR data and analytics to identify trends and make evidence-based recommendations.
* Coach and develop line managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
About You:
* CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience), with a strong generalist HR background.
* Proven track record in managing complex ER cases and advising on best practice and legal compliance.
* Experience working closely with senior leaders to influence and implement HR strategy.
* Sound knowledge of employment law and current HR trends.
* A confident communicator who can build strong relationships and challenge constructively where needed.
* Resilient, proactive, and solution-focused, with excellent organisational skills.
