SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role Location: Sunderland Pay: £90–£110 per day Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing This SEMH Teaching Assistant role supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in a specialist environment. The focus is on helping pupils understand emotions, develop coping strategies and re-engage with education. Your role will involve: • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs • Encouraging emotional literacy and regulation • Supporting learning activities • Helping pupils develop positive routines • Being a calm, consistent adult throughout the day Experience in SEMH or behaviour support is desirable but not essential.
