Our clients include Charles Tyrwhitt, Southern Comfort, Fireball, New Era, Klättermusen, Skullcandy, Timberland and other brands with a common need to speak to the mainstream through a cultural lens.
The Role
KINC is seeking a PR Account Executive to join our growing team working across UK and European clients with a focus on:
* Supporting the press team on press-focused campaigns across multiple sectors including fashion, tech, lifestyle and more.
* Working on day-to-day PR activities for client accounts, including drafting press materials, press releases, media alerts and pitch emails.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors and media contacts to secure press coverage.
* Maintaining and updating media lists, tracking coverage and monitoring client press performance.
* Supporting client meetings, calls and presentations, preparing materials, and capturing key notes and follow-ups.
* Assisting with press days, launches, press events including attending and reporting back from events.
* Conducting research into media trends, competitor activity and industry developments, and sharing insights with the wider team.
* Collaborating with the digital team to ensure campaigns are cohesive across PR and social media.
* Actively participating in creative brainstorms, contributing ideas and supporting a collaborative, positive team culture
* Assisting with general office administration and ad-hoc support tasks as required
The requirements
* 1–2 years’ experience working in PR, either agency-side or in-house, preferably with consumer-focused accounts.
* Strong understanding of the UK press landscape across print, digital and broadcast.
* Experience drafting press materials, including press releases and media communications, is essential.
* Experience in media monitoring, reporting, and compiling coverage highlights.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice for different brands and audiences.
* Outstanding attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
* Proactive, reliable and dedicated, with a positive, can-do attitude
* Comfortable liaising with journalists, influencers and third-party partners to support campaigns.
* Not afraid to ask questions, take feedback on board and demonstrate a clear desire to learn, grow and progress quickly
