Job Overview
We are looking for a Tendering Engineer with an interest in front‑end design, consulting, and estimation to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will work across a portfolio of key customers, developing designs and helping estimate the cost of our offers.
Responsibilities
* Prepare design schemes and solutions based on the requirements and client requests
* Work with engineers in the BMS team and power monitoring teams to get additional design inputs for complex schemes
* Work with sub‑contractors for panels quotes
* Work with sub‑contractors for installation quotes
* Prepare cost estimates and manage internal approvals on costs as appropriate
* Present the offers to clients, and attend mid‑bid and post‑bid clarification meetings
* Work with sales to attend negotiations and close out contracts
* Prepare handover to operations for delivery
* Provide support to forecasting
* Support the introduction of new technologies and solutions to clients
* Update work efforts in SE CRM tool (BFO)
Skills & Experience
* Be able to demonstrate related work experience and a strong track record in a similar role
* Qualified to degree level in relevant discipline (Engineering) or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated background with building management systems
* Passionate about engineering design
* Ability to engage with customers and account managers in workshops and draw out technical requirements
* Strong communication and time‑management skills
* Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must
* Effective in MS Office packages
