Our Watford-based client, an electrical and mechnical manufacturing firm, are looking for a full-time Field Sales Executive to grow their business. The role would involve travel, with a company car and paid travel included.
Position purpose: Act as an integral member of the sales team, actively develop a customer portfolio and meet sales targets as defined by company standards.
Major/Key Responsibilities: Prospecting phone calls, customer web sales meetings, making appointments & on-site visits for key opportunities, acquiring new customers, expanding existing business, following up quotes, maintaining customer relationships, understanding and reporting customer needs and market developments, identifying new product opportunities.
Measures:
Order Intake, Invoiced Sales, New customer acquisitions, Growth of small and large customer accounts.
Scope:
Full product range, Specified geographical area (out-of-area opportunities available).
Challenges:
Researching market & identifying new prospects, overcoming objections, maximising personal productivity.
