Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Door Engineer ideally located in Berkshire, Hempshire or Hertfordshire.The role involves installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of industrial and commercial doors, including steel shutters. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, ensuring proper installation, and adhering to safety protocols while on-site. The Industrial Door Engineer will also be responsible for routine inspections and providing exceptional customer service to clients.
Qualifications
* Experience in installation, servicing, and repair of industrial and commercial doors
* Knowledge of fault diagnosis and problem-solving in door mechanisms and automation systems
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and technical equipment related to the role
* Understanding of health and safety regulations and adherence to standards
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Full, clean UK driving license is required
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or trades (preferred, but not essential)
