Account Manager – Smart Metering (Product)
£50,000 – £75,000 + up to 20% bonus | UK National | Remote working available
We are working with a global smart metering and energy technology manufacturer to recruit an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow strategic relationships across the UK energy market.
This is a high-profile, commercially focused role working with energy suppliers, Meter Asset Providers (MAPs), and key industry partners, where you will take ownership of senior relationships, revenue delivery, forecasting, and long-term account growth.
You will act as the primary commercial interface between customers and the business, ensuring delivery, service, product availability, and commercial performance are aligned to agreed account plans.
The Role
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic account plans that drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of major energy clients.
You will:
1. Own and develop senior-level relationships with energy companies and MAPs
2. Lead all commercial activity across your accounts, from forecasting and pricing to RFPs and contract negotiations
