Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our operations in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team and overseeing all aspects of property management, including tenant relations, financial management, and compliance. This in-person role requires strong leadership skills, experience in managing a large team, and expertise in property management, including knowledge of Universal Credit, court repossession processes, and anti-social behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the London branch, including staff supervision, resource allocation, and performance management.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize occupancy rates, rental income, and tenant satisfaction
* Oversee tenant relations and ensure prompt resolution of issues, including complaints, maintenance requests, and disputes.
* Monitor rental arrears and implement effective rent collection strategies, including liaison with Universal Credit authorities.
* Manage court repossessions in accordance with legal requirements and company policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Address anti-social behaviour issues promptly and effectively, working with relevant agencies and stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment for tenants.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to property management.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a managerial role, with a track record of successfully managing a large team.
* Extensive experience in property management, including knowledge of Universal Credit, property repossession, and anti-social behaviour.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, staff, and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in property management.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have own car (mileage expenses paid).
* occasional weekend availability
