SEND Teacher
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Location: Fareham
Pay: £160 to £250 dependent on experience*
Start Date: September ’25 to July ’26 (Possibility to extend for the right person)

Who are you?
* Care passionately about the education and wellbeing of pupils with SEN.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative, tailoring learning to each child’s strengths.
* Resilient and adaptable, able to inspire and engage pupils with diverse needs.
* Successful experience of managing behaviour of pupils.
* Experience with EHCPs.
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
What are your responsibilities?
* Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to meet diverse learning needs, with clear objectives and assessment strategies.
* Support SEND pupils through differentiated tasks, structured learning, and targeted interventions.
* Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress to inform planning and report to parents and stakeholders
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for pupils.
* Lead or contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
* Maintain high professional standards, participate in school events, and engage in ongoing professional development.
