We are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our tambour door production team Your Role - responsibilities include:-. Working on the assembly line and producing our products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions under the supervision of a Level 2 Assembly Operative or Supervisor. Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods and adhering to safety protocols. Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects. Reporting incidents, faulty operations or product imperfections on the assembly line or Supervisor/Production & Site Manager. Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly Your Profile. Previous experience in this type of role. Able to work individually and as part of a team. You will be attentive to detail and accurate when taking measurements. Takes pride in your work. The ability to understand and receive instructions. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment (within safety guidelines). Ability to work on one's own initiative. Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations. A forklift licence would be an advantage would be an advantage, but not essential. A solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures would be an advantage, but not essential. An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics would be an advantage, but not essential
