Charity Shop Manager – Market Rasen
Hours per week: up to 37.5 hours
Contract: Permanent
If you are looking for a new challenge in a supportive environment, this role is for you. The charity runs over 20 retail units across the East Riding of Yorkshire, generating around 40% of the charity’s total income. The retail business includes a distribution warehouse, fleet of delivery vehicles, online trading presence and a range of general and specialist shops.
Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day operations of the charity shop ensuring it is well run, stocked, safe and profitable.
* Maintain the excellent reputation of the hospice by welcoming and thanking donors and volunteers.
* Support fundraising and communications increase income and awareness.
* Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
* Assist with inventory, merchandising, staff training and logistics.
Qualifications
* Solid foundation in general retailing; charitable retail experience is an advantage.
* Strong business background and passion for charity.
* Full driving licence and access to a car desirable for occasional shop coverage.
* Trainable; training will be provided.
