Job description
We are recruiting for enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic individuals to join Quorn Grange Hotel as Part-Time Food and Beverage Assistants. Working alongside our Food and Beverage Manager, Head Chef and Food and Beverage Supervisors on a 16 hour contract.
The hotel is a busy venue and hosts many Conferences and Events. We are looking for team players who will strive to deliver the best service to our guests and deliver a great experience. Your work will vary as you will will work in all aspects of the department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES
1. Ensure guest satisfaction and standards are met to a high quality.
2. Cleaning duties carried out.
3. Service preparations are completed.
4. Shift checklist are filled out and completed daily.
5. Working in line with the team to achieve the common goal.
6. Taking care of guest requirements ranging from serving drinks in the bar to restaurant meal service.
7. Comply with licencing regulation and legislation in relation to the sale of alcohol.
8. Good codes of practice.
9. Up sell on food and beverage item to maximise revenue.
You should be an enthusiastic individual that enjoys being around people as this role is all about enhancing a guest experience whilst they are with us.
Work patterns range from 7am to 2am, usually 8 hours within these time frames and flexibility is key. This includes weekends and holidays.
We host many significant life event functions ranging from weddings to funeral wakes. We are a busy venue and each day is never the same.
We are located close to the Number 2 and 126/127 bus routes.
