Client Snapshot:
An established UK housing provider with a large portfolio of supported living projects, offering housing management and supported housing services.
Vacancy Brief:
* Position: Support Worker (initially a three-month interim contract covering sickness)
* Type: Full-time, 35 hours/week
* Working Pattern: Morning and late shifts (9am-5pm, 2pm-10pm, 10am-6pm)
* Pay Rate: £13.30/hour PAYE or £17.15/hour Umbrella
* Location: On-site in Ludlow
* Requirements: Enhanced DBS check (child and adult workforce)
Responsibilities:
* Work with residents within a 6-day, 9am-10pm rota to provide a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 16-25 and 18-55.
* Manage the scheme building as a lone worker, addressing issues of anti-social behaviour, health and safety, and housing management.
* Encourage residents to establish and maintain settled lifestyles.
* Provide housing support, including assistance with budgeting and housing benefit forms.
* Support residents to become financially independent and confident in managing household income and expenditure.
