ATMS
Our ATMS business has heritage in the development, manufacture,sustainmentand support of secondary surveillance radar technology. Out technology is relied upon to marshal more than two-thirds of the world’s air traffic due to its precision accuracy and ability to detectaircrafteven within the most crowded airspace. Designed and manufactured in the UK, our products are exported globally to RTX customers in more than 45 countries.
Role&Responsibilities
About the role
Supporting our key Mk3 and next generation products, this role will provide support to the ATMS System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Lead with the development of test scenario definitions, conduct of functional system test, supporting off-site test house activities, generation of technical procedures and reports, participation in engineering design reviews and response to customer technical requests.
The role will involve working in a highly technical environment, supporting the team as well as working autonomously, laboratory work will be involved for product testing.
Required experience
16. Experience with Electronics and Digital Hardware design and test
17. Experience in verification & validation, including environmental and EMC testing
18. Experience with generation of technical documentation at all levels.
19. Understanding of policies, practises and procedures.
20. Ability to work in a team and perform to project directives.
21. Ability to work autonomously, with limited oversight from Team
22. Leaders and Management.
23. Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar industry certification.
Desirable experience
24. Knowledge of radar systems and receiver characteristics
25. Experience across the product engineering lifecycle from requirements through to qualification.
26. Experience with Requirements Management toolsets.
27. Experience with configuration management systems
