Job Requirement

Please note that you will be asked to provide the names of two referees when you apply for this post, although these are not required.

You should print off the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.

To ensure your application is accepted, it is essential that the Head Teacher's report is signed by the Head Teacher and emailed from their email address to the following email in PDF format.

Make sure to include the (EAD) reference number of the post on the report form.

The completed report should then be submitted by the Head Teacher to:

kturnbull@westerton.e-dunbarton.sch.uk, prior to the closing date.

FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN YOUR APPLICATION BEING EXCLUDED FROM SHORTLISTING.

Applicants for Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.

The cost of the check is borne by the successful candidate, deducted from the first salary, or in some cases, in installments post-employment with HR approval. If employment ends before deduction, the full amount is deducted from the final salary.

This applies to both new applicants and existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
