Fund Finance Manager – European Real Estate Platform (London)
A leading real estate investment, development and asset management business is seeking a Fund Finance Manager to support its expanding European platform. With a strong track record in delivering multi-unit commercial property schemes, the business is experiencing continued growth across key European markets.
This is a high-impact role offering exposure to cross-border investments, fund structures, and senior stakeholders, within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO and Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the financial management and reporting for the European platform. You will work closely with investment teams and oversee third-party providers across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
Fund & Financial Management
* Oversee financial reporting and compliance across European entities (including OpCos, PropCos and SPVs)
* Manage and monitor cashflows to ensure timely funding of construction and operational costs
* Oversee purchase ledger, payments, and banking activities across multiple jurisdictions
* Manage and operate online banking platforms
Stakeholder & Investment Support
* Act as a key finance contact for both UK and European teams
* Partner with the European Investment team on new acquisitions, including structuring and execution
* Liaise with investors, lenders, and external advisors on transactions and ongoing matters
Third-Party Oversight
* Manage relationships with local accountants, administrators, and service providers
* Review and oversee outsourced finance functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Ensure timely delivery of audited financial statements and local compliance requirements
Projects & Strategic Initiatives
* Support the setup of finance functions in new European markets
* Assist with the implementation of group finance systems
* Contribute to tax structuring, transfer pricing, and related documentation
* Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and controls
Candidate Profile
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of real estate accounting and fund structures
* Exposure to European entities and cross-border tax considerations
* Experience managing third-party providers and outsourced finance functions
* Solid Excel skills, including building and reviewing financial models
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Collaborative mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
