At Quest Global, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Oil and Gas project team based at two locations: Fawley, Hampshire, and Fife, Cowdenbeath, UK.

Job Requirements
* Serve as the primary interface for site-based projects between the client site and Quest Global (India Engineering team).
* Gather site information, field inputs, and site clarifications to ensure smooth engineering delivery.
* Coordinate with site stakeholders and local vendors as needed.
* Liaise with the client design lead for any emerging project scenarios.
* Plan and execute work related to an assigned brownfield project scope, tailored based on work breakdown structure, geographic distribution, and project needs.
* Participate in project phases from FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
* Contribute to early concept selection, project screening, and development planning.
* Maintain responsibility for safety, cost, schedule, quality, and operability within their scope; contract ownership may be delegated.
* Manage contractor performance, engage stakeholders, and coordinate with discipline engineers and global experts to meet project objectives.
Responsibilities/Tasks
* Ensure completion of assigned work scope aligned with project objectives.
* Oversee FEED engineering, procurement, and execution planning through to project start-up.
* Identify and manage sourcing of long lead equipment.
* Coordinate development and review of Project Management System deliverables.
* Manage project issues identification and resolution processes.
* Ensure smooth transitions between project stages, sites, and stakeholders.
Work Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university.
* Minimum of 9 years of experience related to petrochemical, refining, or similar process industries.
* Knowledge of industry design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
* Strong organizational, coordination, planning, interface, and technical judgment skills.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking English.
