We’re looking for an Arts graduate who’s passionate about making a difference in a special educational needs (SEN) setting. You’ll be joining a warm, inclusive school in West Newcastle where creativity and empathy go hand in hand.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH)
2. Using creative arts, drama, or design to help pupils express themselves and engage in learning
3. Working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists
4. Helping to create a safe, encouraging classroom environment
What we’re looking for:
5. A degree in Art, Drama, Music, or a related field
6. A patient, compassionate nature
7. Someone who enjoys being hands-on and adaptable
8. Experience working with children or young people is a bonus (but not essential)
