Our client, is one of the UK’s leading suppliers in the design & manufacture of retail and promotional bags. Operating for over 10 years they take pride in sourcing only the highest quality, ethical and fairly traded products.
The business is looking for an experienced Team Leader to head up the existing Account Management team.
The perfect candidate will be responsible for leading the team, developing strategies to expand the client base and maximise profit opportunities.
To be suitable for this role, you must be passionate about the print/packaging industry, be able to take charge and have a proven background of driving sales growth across existing accounts.
Experience of working in a similar role is required.
The Role:
Lead and motivate the account management team to achieve and exceed sales targets
Develop effective sales strategies to attract new customers
Build and nurture relationships with key customers
Study market trends and pricing to remain competitive
Identify opportunities for growth and recommend improvements
Collaborate with marketing and production teams
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and budgets
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and market changes
Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to the sales team
Accurately estimate printing projects
Collaborate with clients to understand their printing needs
Liaise with production to ensure project specifications and timelines are met
Prepare detailed and accurate quotes and proposals for customers
Continuously optimise the estimation process for efficiency and accuracy.
The Candidate:
Proven experience in sales and account management
Experience within B2B in a packaging / product / warehouse environment
Experience in printing of paper or cotton bags is a nice to have
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a sales team effectively
Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation.
