Job Title: Devops Engineer - Glasgow
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Jenkins to design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in automation, build and release management, and cloud‑native DevOps practices, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.

Your Role
* Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
* Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows
* Configure and manage Jenkins jobs and pipelines (Declarative and Scripted)
* Integrate Jenkins with tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes
* Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth delivery
* Maintain and optimize build infrastructure and environments
* Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams
* Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
* Ensure security, compliance, and quality standards within pipeline processes
* Create and maintain documentation for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps procedures
Your Skills
* Strong hands‑on experience with Jenkins (pipelines, plugins, configuration)
* Proficiency in Groovy scripting for Jenkins pipeline development
* Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies
* Experience with Git and other version control systems
* Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant
* Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
* Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
* Experience in automation scripting using Bash, Python, or similar languages
