Field Attendants - Peat harvesting sites in Manitoba (Canada)
We are looking for Field Attendants this summer to carry out a variety of tasks related to peat harvesting. Your attention to detail and reliability will be major assets, recognized and appreciated by your supervisor. Thanks to you, Berger will reach its harvesting goals, and maybe even break records!
Operate a large vacuum machine to harvest peat, towed by a tractor;
Use different types of harrows to prepare peat fields
Collect roots and wood debris using a root harrow
Stack collected material into a trailer, then unload it at designated field sites.
Between 18 and 35 years old;
Must be pre-registered for the IEC Working Holiday program:
Tractor driving experience is an asset;
Physically fit: able to lift up to 30 kg and walk long distances in peat fields;
Available for overtime and weekend work.
