Position
Gastroenterology Registrar – Ealing Hospital (London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust).
The Ealing Endoscopy unit, JAG accredited, performs approximately 5,000 GI endoscopies per year and sees around 2,000 new patients annually in gastroenterology clinics.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct two out‑patient clinics per week.
* Perform ward rounds with consultant supervision.
* Carry out one training endoscopy list per week.
* Support inpatient ward rounds and outpatient clinics.
* Assist in endoscopy procedures and receive formal endoscopy training.
Qualifications & Requirements
Suitable for UK and overseas doctors seeking training and clinical experience in gastroenterology.
Experience in gastroenterology and general internal medicine is preferred. The role is a service post ideal for gaining further experience before applying for training or research positions.
