About the Role
Salary: The salary offered for this role is up to £54,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available.
Full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2‑week rota, plus working 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, at premium overtime rate.
* Week 1: Monday to Friday – 06:00‑14:00
* Week 2: Monday to Friday – 13:30‑21:30
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Magna Park (NDC)
Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on‑site e‑commerce light commercial fleet.
* Carry out repair and maintenance of outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles for John Lewis and Waitrose branches and CDHs.
* Apply best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective repairs and ensure the use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.
Essential Experience / Qualifications
* City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualifications.
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
* Proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.
Desirable Skills
* IRTEC certification.
* LGV C+E driving licence.
