The Candidate:
* Must have a passion for cooking and be very creative
* Ability to produce dishes to a consistently high standard
* HACCP trained and hold an up-to-date certificate
* Knowledge of ordering, stock control, and waste management
* Flexible to meet business needs
* Fluent English is required (Written and Oral)
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all service within the kitchen is performed to the highest standard
* Ensure that all stock is kept under optimum conditions
* Help develop and introduce new menus and recipes
* Ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
* Attend training and development as required
* Assist the Executive Head Chef & Head Chef to ensure Health & Safety is maintained daily
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills.
This role involves midweek and weekend shifts, with a mix of daytime and nighttime hours. Flexibility in working hours is essential.
