We are looking for a motivated and hands‑on Deputy Shop Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of a busy charity shop. This is a varied role where you’ll help keep the shop organised, welcoming and commercially successful. By working closely with the Shop Manager, you’ll play an important part in driving sales and maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities
* Support the daily operation of the shop, helping to maximise sales and create a positive customer experience.
* Merchandising, stock handling, cash management and maintaining high standards across the shop floor.
* Assist volunteers: recruit, train, motivate, and ensure they feel supported in their roles.
* Help ensure the shop runs safely and efficiently, following all relevant procedures.
* Step in to lead the shop when needed.
