We’re currently seeking an experienced Carpenter based at our client premises at Hull Women & Children’s Hospital. In this role, you will be required to complete all joinery maintenance and small installation duties including PPM, painting, small works tasks and reactive tasks as required.
You will ensure all works are completed on time and in accordance with the health and safety protocol., as well as completing and logging all point of work documentation. We’re looking for someone that will ensure all communication channels are utilised to keep both the client and company informed of relevant information.
As an Apleona Carpenter, we’re looking for:
* Apprentice trained to City & Guilds level 3 (6706)
* Experience in Painting, Carpentry, Joinery
* Experience of working within a building services environment
* Valid UK Driving licence
* Experience in a similar Facilities Management role / or worked in a hospital environment
* Experience in fire door inspection (BM Strada) and have worked on fire doors previously
* Knowledge of implementing effective health and safety procedures
* Ability to use computers to intermediate level for word, excel and outlook
* Hospital specific regulations
