We have an exciting fixed-term contract opportunity for a qualified IDVA Service Manager to join Victim Support's specialist Children and Young People Domestic Abuse service (STREET) as a Team Leader in Gloucestershire. This role is offered on a fixed term basis up to 31st March 2026.

About The Role
This role is based at the Victim Support office in Gloucester (Eastgate House) with travel expected throughout Gloucestershire. We are looking for someone who is YPVA qualified or willing to work towards this qualification.
As The STREET DA CYP Team Leader You Will
* Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime and retain and develop contracts for services by supporting and managing operational staff.
* Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and management team to achieve the implementation of workforce plans and develop the service to maximise positive outcomes for those accessing it.
* Proactively promote the service, raise awareness of services, and work collaboratively with professionals to improve access and quality of services for children & young people.
You Will Need
* An understanding of the Criminal Justice system and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses.
* Proactive promotion of the service and collaboration with professionals to improve access and quality of services for children & young people.
* Understanding of legislation relating to equal opportunities, diversity, safeguarding, and risk assessments.
* Practical understanding of confidentiality, safe working practices, and record maintenance in accordance with legal requirements.
* Experience working in challenging and changing environments with a focus on customer service and service excellence.
* Demonstrable experience of crisis management, support, and guidance in stressful situations to a client-focused team.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills, both written and verbal, with a range of agencies and individuals.
